Description
Heavy-duty Met-Chem 470mm industrial filter press equipped with 28 polypropylene filter plates, stainless steel process plumbing, center-feed slurry distribution, and four-corner filtrate return.
Designed for industrial liquid/solid separation and sludge dewatering applications, this filter press is well suited for wastewater treatment systems, electroplating and metal finishing operations, chemical processing, and other industrial applications requiring effective solids removal.
The filter press features a corrosion-resistant coated steel frame and polypropylene recessed-chamber plates. Its compact configuration makes it an attractive option for facilities seeking to upgrade existing sludge dewatering equipment or add filter press capacity without the investment associated with a new system.
New replacement filter cloths and gaskets are included, with installation prior to shipment under the standard refurbished offering. An alternative as-is configuration with replacement materials supplied separately is available upon request.

Refurbishment and Equipment Options
The standard refurbished offering includes new filter cloths and gaskets, with installation arranged prior to delivery.
Additional refurbishment, replacement of end-plate components, plumbing modifications, and equipment testing may be quoted as required following inspection.
The press may alternatively be supplied as-is, with new replacement filter cloths and gaskets included but not installed, subject to an adjusted selling price.
AODD Pump Integration
This filter press can be accommodated with a properly sized air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump for sludge transfer and press feeding.
Pump selection will depend on slurry characteristics, required flow, operating pressure, and available compressed-air capacity. AODD pumps, air controls, hoses, and related accessories may be quoted separately.
